This headset is all the rage in our office. We love the comfortable and stable On-the-Ear headset combined with the noise canceling microphone.
When you fit the headset, the battery tucks snugly behind the ear and counterbalances the weight of the microphone. The light -weight microphone boom incorporates ann effective noise canceling microphone that effectively removes up to 70% of background sounds, so that your caller hears only you. Once this headset is mounted on your ear—and it does take a second longer than an Over-the-Head model—it can be worn all day without shaking loose.
The battery gives six hours talk-time, and while this is shorter than some other headset (the CS55, for instance, offers a 10 hour talk time), we’ve found it gives adequate talk-time coverage for the average busy executive. A quick batter boost by returning the headset to its cradle during the lunch break enables all day use.

The CS70 amplifier and base station doubles as a charging station and also provides a place to connect the optional HL10 handset lifter and Headsets.com Wireless Y-Adapter.
The HL10 handset lifter allows you to answer and end incoming calls while away from your desk. A gentle beep sounds in you ear as the line rings, prompting you to connect the call by pressing the answer button on the headset. The HL10 Handset Lifter lifts the receiver from its cradle and holds it up for the duration of the call. Pressing the same button on the headset returns the receiver to its cradle, and ends the call.
The Plantronics CS70 comes complete with a DC adapter and all necessary cords and connectors to set up your headset in just a few minutes.
